Welcome to an Evening of Music and History at The Vyne!
Join us as we celebrate two remarkable milestones: our orchestra’s 95th birthday season and the 250th birthday of Jane Austen. This unforgettable summer evening will feature a special performance of Carl Davis’ Theme from Pride and Prejudice, honouring the beloved novelist’s deep connection to the Basingstoke area.
Set against the stunning backdrop of The Vynea historic Tudor house surrounded by 1,500 acres of lush gardens and woodlands, this event offers the perfect blend of music, history and natural beauty.  Bring a picnic, rugs or chairs to relax on the lawn in front of the lake with friends and family.  Soak in the peaceful atmosphere, immerse yourself in the music and step into a moment of living history under the summer sky.
We hope you enjoy this magical evening celebrating our orchestra’s incredible 95-year journey and Jane Austen’s legacy; we are so happy that you are joining us for an Evening of Music and History at The Vyne
